Smoked Sausage

One of our favorite things is Bar S Smoked Sausage. You have to watch the package, because they come in classic and hot. The hot is pretty hot! Like everything else in the grocery store today, the package has gone from 16 links to 14 links for around $5.00. Ticks me off that is only going from 31 cents to 36 cents per sausage link, but it is still a increase in the price. Seems like everyting I pick up is still the same price as before, but the package is smaller!
We still feel that they are a good value for the money, even with the price increase. We use these "big dogs" in so many different ways. I don't want to sound like Bubba in Forrest Gump, but these are a few of the ways we fix these Bar S Smoked Sausages:
Hot Dogs - they are as long as the bun
Cut up and cooked with barbecue sauce
Cut up and mixed in with mac and cheese
Cut up and put in baked beans
Cut up and added to an omelet or quiche
Split open and fried
Cooked with Sauerkraut
etc., etc., etc.

They can be served as the "main" meat dish or added to something to make a dish. Next time you are looking for something different try Bar S Smoked Sausages.
