If you have earrings that are starting to wear on the edges
use a Sharpie to cover up the worn places.
I have also used a Sharpie to cover up scratches on my husband's dress shoes.

The ways to use a Sharpie for repair are almost endless.
Use what ever color of Sharpie to match what ever you are trying to fix.
