My daughter uses the slicer on her grater to make really thin slices of potatoes when she makes scalloped potatoes. She says this allows them to cook faster. She sprays her baking dish and layers potatoes, grated cheddar cheese, thinly sliced onions and then tops the whole thing with a can of cream of mushroom soup mixed with a 1/2 can milk, garlic powder, onion powder, accent, lemon pepper and seasoning salt. It is a simple dish to make. She bakes it at 350 degrees for about 45 minutes.
