Crystal Bridges Art Experience

The first EIGHT DAYS of this New Year I am going to blog about
NORTHWEST ARKANSAS...BENTONVILLE, ARKANSAS
AND CRYSTAL BRIDGES MUSEUM OF AMERICAN ART...
hope you enjoy the trip with me:)

Over Christmas our family went on a visit to the Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art. We only had time to tour the inside of the facility and snapped this photo of one of the outdoor sculptures. Next time we plan to venture out on some of the beautiful outdoor trails.

Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art is a museum of American art in Bentonville, Arkansas. The Museum, founded in 2005 by Alice Walton who chairs the board of directors, takes its name from nearby Crystal Spring and the bridge construction incorporated in the building design by world-renowned architect Moshe Safdie.

A series of pavilions nestled around two creek-fed ponds house galleries, meeting and classroom spaces, and a large, glass-enclosed gathering hall. The Museum officially opened on 11 November 2011 at 600 Museum Way. It offers free public admission.
