It was an accident that I found a nail polish that will actually stay on my nails. I was looking for something else at Walgreens, and saw this polish on sale for $1.99...ok I thought for that price I will give it a try. I picked out some colors that I liked and went home to try it out.
Two coats of the nail color, let it dry and add two coats of the acrylic top coat! It stays on my toe nails for a full month and the polish is still ok, but my nails have grown. This is good stuff!
I am not much of a nail polish person, but do like to have it on my toe nails. It looks good on my finger nails, because I have those hard nails that grow like crazy. I just can't sit still long enough to allow it to dry on my finger nails.
I'll have to give this one a shot! I use a Sally Hansen top coat (it has a blue lid thing though) and it works pretty well at keeping my polish on for weeks at a time. At least on my toes. Whenever I do remember to paint my fingernails (what little I have), it always chips in 3-5 days.
ReplyDeleteOkay, I need to try this too. I don't know if it's the cooking or the gardening or the typing for work, but I canNOT get nail polish to stay on my nails! A lot of the time it's chipping off after a day. :/
