This is my niece Debra's recipe for blackeyed peas and it is oh so good!
1 pound package dried blackeyed peas
8 cups water - soak over night
4 or 5 pieces of bacon cut up added to peas
1 1/2 tablespoons Wyler's instant bouillon beef granules
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Cook on medium/low heat for 1 1/2 to 2 hours
Serve with cornbread and onions
